<p>A 2-year-old boy who recently visited the emergency room (ED) to evaluate recurring scalp lesions now visits a clinic. Physical examination reveals obvious drainage with honey-coloured crusting from the scalp lesions, hair loss, and cervical, postauricular, and posterior occipital lymphadenopathy. In addition, there is a bigger scaly confluent patch on the left parietal scalp, and the lesions on the scalp start as white pustules before rupturing. Additionally, the patient has fevers and less appetite.</p>
