I am a Consultant Clinical Immunologist and Rheumatologist based in Bengaluru. I completed my MD at AIIMS and DM in Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology at SGPGI. My clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and management of autoimmune and rheumatic diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, Sjögren’s disease, vasculitis, gout and osteoporosis. I have a particular interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound, evidence-based medicine and patient education. I am passionate about making complex medical information easier to understand and create educational content in English and Kannada to improve awareness about arthritis, autoimmune diseases and their treatments. My approach to patient care is centred on careful evaluation, clear communication, shared decision-making and evidence-based treatment. I believe that helping patients understand their condition and the reasoning behind their treatment is an important part of delivering effective long-term care.
