Dr Vinod Sharma completed his MD in Pulmonary Medicine from prestigious SMS Medical College in Jaipur. Subsequently he completed his super-specialty training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine (D.M.) from Pt. B.D. Sharma, PGIMS, Rohtak. He has more than 11 years experience and also worked earlier at AIIMS, Jodhpur. He has keen interest in interstitial lung diseases, lung cancer, critical care medicine and airway diseases. He has more than 15 peer reviewed publications in national and international journals. His fields of interest are auto-immune ILDs, pulmonary vasculitis, complex chronic disorders of lung and airways. Dr Sharma is a member of several national and international prestigious societies including, ICS, ISCCM, ESMO, ASCO and IASLC. He has been awarded two best oral paper awards by ICS and NCCP for his work on interventional pulmonology and issues related to lung surgery and sleep in NAPCON 2021 held at Varanasi, India. He has also been awarded best poster award by NCCP for his work on sarcoidosis in RAJPULMOCON, 2016 held at Jaipur. He has experience of more than 1000 video and fibre optic Bronchoscopies Ultrasound guided TBNAs/Core Biopsies (EBUS TBNA/EUS-B-FNA) and more than 20 rigid bronchoscopic operations, endo bronchial tumor debulking, stent placement.
