A 5-year-old girl presents with a 7-cm, vague, left-sided abdominal mass. The patient has also experienced recent weight loss and failure to thrive. The mass is hard and fixed. A plain film reveals fine calcifications in the regions of the mass, and a CT scan shows an irregular, solid mass arising from the left adrenal gland.
