A 19-year-old male presented with a 2-day history of severe mid-stomach pain radiating to the right lower abdomen, exacerbated by coughing and walking. Accompanied by fever, nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite. Physical examination revealed tenderness at McBurney point, muscular defense, and rebound tenderness. Laboratory results indicated an elevated leukocyte count (17,800/cumm) with 80% neutrophils. Alvarado score of 10 confirmed the diagnosis of acute appendicitis. Treatment included antibiotics, analgesics, with a planned appendectomy.
