A 19-year-old patient presented with a lesion that has recurred intermittently over the past two years, relieved with medication but reappearing upon cessation of drugs. The lesion begins as a boil, progresses to pus formation, ruptures, and then forms a crust accompanied by throbbing pain. Kindly advise on appropriate investigations, diagnosis, and treatment. Past treatments have included Amoxicillin-Clavulanate and intravenous Ceftriaxone.
