<p>A 23-year-old underweight first-time pregnant woman with severe hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) was admitted to the hospital. She had lost 5 kg from her pre-pregnancy weight of 50 kg and required peripheral intravenous nutrition due to insufficient oral intake. Despite the treatment, her symptoms persisted. At 17 weeks and 1 day of pregnancy, a blood test revealed zinc deficiency. Please suggest diagnosis and appropriate treatment for this patient.</p>
