A 26-year-old male diagnosed with Lichen Planus was on Deflacort 30mg OD. After 15 days, Azathioprine 50mg was started, and the deflacort was tapered to 24 mg. Deflacort dose was further reduced to 20 mg after 15 days, and azathioprine was started BD. The dose of Deflacort was further reduced to 6mg od along with azathioprine BD. Topical application of clobetasol OD was continued along with the therapy. After completing the course, The patient complained of 1-2 itchy lesions. Kindly advice if this was the ideal way to taper the steroids and advice further management for the patient.
