A 7-year-old girl has exhibited blood-stained vomitus on eight occasions within a single day. She remains afebrile, with stable vital signs and adequate hydration. There are no signs of toxicity, and her abdomen is soft with no evidence of bleeding from other sites or the presence of blood clots. Interestingly, when the child was about to undergo a medical procedure, she revealed that she had deceived her parents. Her explanation involved adding watercolours to water in a mug on her residence's top floor. She would ascend to the top floor, take a small amount of the coloured water into her mouth, descend, and simulate vomiting in front of her mother. The inspiration for this behavior was derived from watching a similar act on YouTube, where another girl of her age engaged in the same activity and uploaded it online.
