A female patient presented, aged 29, with rheumatoid arthritis negative, raised ESR, HLA B27 negative, and normal levels of T3, T4, and TSH. She has been experiencing joint pain, mainly in the pelvic and knee joints, for the past four years. Despite no relief from NSAIDs and physiotherapy, significant improvement has been noted since starting a combination treatment of deflazacort 12mg bd, pregabalin 75 od, and sulfasalazine 500 bd for the past month.
