A four-year and seven-month-old female child was brought to the pediatric outpatient department after experiencing three episodes of loss of consciousness accompanied by abnormal body movements over the past two days. The mother reported a history of delayed developmental milestones, but there was no history of fever, headache, neck stiffness, or recent drug intake. On examination, the child had light pinkish-purple patches over the right forehead and periorbital region, as well as a similar patch over the left forehead. Neurological and systemic examinations were unremarkable. Initial investigations, including CBC, RBS, RFT, LFT, chest X-ray, and ECG, were normal. However, a sleep EEG showed abnormalities suggestive of a structural lesion in the right cerebral hemisphere, confirmed by subsequent CT-angiography.
