A 33 year old male presents to the emergency department after sustaining a gunshot wound to his forearm. He complains of increasing pain and swelling in the affected arm, accompanied by tingling sensations in his hand. On examination, there is tense swelling, pain with passive finger extension, and diminished sensation distal to the injury site. Kindly suggest probable diagnosis and treatment for the same.
