The patient, a 58-year-old woman who had previously been diagnosed with alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency and hypothyroidism, arrived at our hospital after experiencing a cardiac arrest. Upon arrival by rescue personnel, she was discovered to be in ventricular fibrillation (VF) after abruptly collapsing at home. Before the occurrence, there was no substantial cardiac history or antecedent symptoms. However, at admission, the patient had many monitored episodes of Polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (PVT)/VF.
