A 12 year old male pt came with the c/o itching and burning on the chin since 2 weeks. He gave h/o occasional bleeding from the area.
o/e: a thin ,crusted lesion was observed below the lip..minute vesciles were also observed to be formed..
the lesion had started with a small boil but eventually radiated under the lip and showed an increase in size.
the area was tender on palpation and pt reported a sensation of extreme itching an burning.
aggravates on having spicy food.
pt had previously reported to a doctor and had applied an antifungal ointment but there was no relief on treatment.
kindly diagnose the situation and suggest a suitable treatment plan.
