Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy (ICP) manifests in the latter part of pregnancy, resulting in pruritus and abnormal liver function tests (LFT). The incidence in India ranges from 1.2% to 1.5%. ICP poses risks to both mother and fetus, necessitating early delivery before serum bile acids (SBA), considered the gold standard and hepatic transaminases reach critically high levels. However, the precise thresholds for these levels remain unclear due to limited evidence.
