GYNAECOLOGY - IVF

<p>A 38-year-old woman with primary infertility for 4 years presented with an abdominopelvic mass in the right iliac region. Bimanual examination revealed cystic masses in left and right fornices, with a normal-size retroverted uterus. Her serum cancer antigen 125 (CA 125) level was 21.3 U/mL. Abdominal ultrasonography and computed tomography showed bilateral adnexal complex cystic lesions with dermoid cysts on both sides. She underwent a laparotomy, which revealed a large right ovarian cyst of 15 x 13 x 10 cm3 (Figure 1) and a smaller left ovarian cyst of 5 x 5 x 4 cm3 (Figure 2).</p>
