A blistering eruption on a 53-year-old woman's finger was evaluated. The eruption had cleaned up when she saw the doctor (8 days later); fortunately, she had taken a picture of the blister. She claims that the initial stage of the eruption was painful, and about two years prior, she had a very similar rash. She had manicured shrubs the previous weekend while working as a nurse's assistant in a long-term care facility. She does not take any other oral meds; she occasionally takes ibuprofen for arthritis.
