A 61-year-old man with no past medical conditions experienced fever, headache, and dyspnea. He self-isolated after testing positive with SARS-CoV-2 (RNA was initially found, followed by IgG two months later). He began to feel a brief burning sensation all over his body a week later. Within two weeks, he started experiencing tingling, numbness, and burning pain in the second and third toes of one foot. This quickly expanded to both feet and hands but did not affect the other toes. They caused him trouble sleeping and, based on his subjective pain scale, were a 7 out of 10. His neurological assessment revealed no sensory loss (mild touch, pain, temperature, vibration, or proprioception), ataxia, or other unusual findings.
