A male infant aged seven days was referred for an echocardiogram from the neonatal critical care unit. The mother experienced a one-week episode of febrile illness during the fifth month of pregnancy. The child's heart rate was 124 bpm, and he was dyspneic. During a physical exam, it was discovered that both lung fields had rhonchi, which could indicate wheezing bronchitis. Figure 1 depicts transthoracic 2D echocardiographic images of the child's tricuspid valve, whereas Figure 2 depicts mild tricuspid regurgitation.
