difficult to treat covid

Mrs Shakuntala ,a 48 years female presented to the Infectious Disease Hospital ,Intensive Care Unit during the 2nd wave of COVID 19 with complains of fever for 15 days and breathlessness for 6 days. Fever was high grade , intermittent not associated with chills and rigor relieved on taking medications . Initially patient was having high grade fever but later the frequency of fever spikes decreased and patient started developing breathlessness which was insidious in onset gradually progressive in nature initially was present on exertion later was also present at rest following which she was referred to King George’s Medical University
