A 56-year-old man who fell off a 10-foot ladder three days prior arrives at the emergency room complaining of excruciating lower back pain. According to a medical assessment, his lower extremities have a full motor function and light touch sensitivity. His L1 spine region is palpably painful, and he is experiencing mild paraspinous spasms. His pelvis and abdomen were imaged using computed tomography, identifying an L1 burst fracture with bone retropulsion (Figure 1). Additionally, he has a nondisplaced T12 spinous process fracture and a left L1 pedicle fracture. Figure 2 displays sagittal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
