Headache with weakness of...

The patient, a 3-year-2-month-old girl, was hospitalized for "headache with weakness of the double lower limbs for seven days". Physical examination revealed consciousness, normal upper limb myodynamia (i.e., grade V), and lower limb grade IV myodynamia. The CT scan showed a lesion occupying midline brain space with a density comparable to brain tissue and hydrocephalus (Figure 1). MRI revealed large lesions that occupy space in the ventricle with distinct borders (Figure 2). The tumor was surgically removed. The postoperative pathological diagnosis determined that it was an atypical teratoid / rhabdoid tumor.
