A 20-year-old female experienced nasal congestion and a runny nose during late spring and early fall, linked with wheezing and asthma symptoms. Additionally, she had itchy, watery eyes and a scratchy palate. Her symptoms began in the months of April to June, subsided in July, and resurfaced in August and September. The symptoms occurred frequently during these times, with continuous nasal congestion and repeated sneezing episodes. The symptoms interfered with her daily activities, such as gardening, work, and sleep, causing her to miss work for 10 days this year. Towards the end of September, she experienced more severe asthma symptoms and wheezing. She has had these symptoms since childhood, which have worsened over the last three seasons. She had tried using over-the-counter antihistamines, but they have not been effective.1
