A 33-year-old patient visited hospital with left knee discomfort that has been bothering him for three weeks. He has had continuous medial-side knee pain that worsens when he twists, squats, or kneels. Figures 1 and 2 show a distal semitendinosus tendon avulsion with proximal retraction on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the left knee.
