Medisage Case Discussion

A 57-year-old woman with sudden onset of visual complaints was referred to the neurology outpatient department (OPD) for evaluation. Her diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia have all been poorly managed in the past. The patient had been to the emergency room four days prior at the neurology OPD for high blood pressure (200/94mmHg). The following day, she complained of blurred vision. She had a normal visual test, and the patient was reassured and sent home. On day 3, she noticed that the blurring of vision had gotten worse. A computed tomography (CTA) was performed.
