A 62 years old male reported to the clinic with the c/o restlessness and anxiety..on general examination his BP was found to be raised.Detailed history said that he was tensed about the umemployement of his son and financial issues in the house. The pt gave history of frequent washing of hands and if someone prevented him from doing so,he would get badly disturbed about that. After diagnosis of CAD his frequency of washing hands increased. A diagnosis of OCD was made.Pt was started with cardiofriendly escitalopram 10mg and clonazepam 5mg combination for 6mnths.Pt was also advised to start with yoga and behavioural therapy. 6mnths follwo up showed significant improvement in his mental health.
