A 6-week-old male infant, exclusively breastfed, presents with nonbilious, nonbloody projectile vomiting. The vomiting has progressively worsened over the past few weeks, accompanied by recent weight loss. The infant is afebrile and has not experienced diarrhea. Despite eating voraciously, the infant vomits shortly after feeding and shows continued hunger. This case explores potential underlying causes for the projectile vomiting and weight loss, including but not limited to hypertrophic pyloric stenosis and other gastrointestinal conditions.
