Recurrent nausea and vomiting troubled a 34-year-old woman who presented to the emergency room. The patient had nausea and vomiting three days before admission after consuming marijuana and could not keep any food down. Type 1 diabetes, gastroparesis, and hypertension were among the patient's previous medical conditions. Her social background indicated that she used marijuana daily but denied using alcohol or tobacco. The only definitive treatment identified for Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome (CHS) is the cessation of marijuana.
