A 46-year-old man has been suffering from recurrent painful soars on both feet and ankles for several years. The patient doesn’t have any other medical conditions such as diabetes and is a non-smoker. However, due to his wound and associated symptoms, his social life was affected. He achieved only temporary healing with compression stockings and wound treatment. The sores with macerated border are visible from the picture below (left side), along with an exudative reddened base surrounded by heavily pigmented skin. The patient underwent Endovenous Laser Ablation therapy, and during follow up post two weeks, the ulcer was healed as shown in the picture (right side).
