Right-hand pain

After hitting a wall two days prior, a 26-year-old woman appears with right-hand pain. She described the occurrence as causing instant discomfort and oedema. The patient has a loss of knuckle prominence of the fifth metacarpal head-on physical examination, although the skin is intact. A displaced fifth metacarpal neck fracture with a 60° angulation is shown on radiographs of the hand (Figures 1 and 2).
