The patient presented in the emergency department and was referred due to a condition known as an inverted uterus. Upon examination, the patient's pulse rate was 120 beats per minute, blood pressure was normal, and there was a severe degree of paleness. Local examination revealed a large mass protruding from the vagina. Further examination of the mass determined that it was a swollen cervix. The protruding mass was cleaned, dressed, and a T bandage was applied for support. An ultrasound was performed, which showed a postpartum uterus without any other abnormalities. The patient received two units of blood transfusion and remained stable. After 24 hours, the swelling decreased. The patient reported that the delivery was conducted at home in a squatting position, and there was no history of cervicovaginal prolapse prior to the delivery.
