MEDICO-HISTORICAL CASE: Arjun, a skilled warrior, is experiencing various physical and psychological symptoms during a critical battle. He reports the following symptoms: Whole body shudders, indicating a heightened state of stress and anxiety, along with a sensation of his hair standing on end, triggering the contraction of his arrector pili muscles and slipping of his bow (Gāṇḍīv) from his hand due to the weakness caused by emotional distress. He also reported a burning sensation all over his skin, with his mind in difficulty and confusion, resulting in his inability to steady himself.

He finds himself in a challenging situation as he stands on the battlefield, overwhelmed by the sight of his relatives prepared to engage in combat and cause harm. As a result, he experiences physical and emotional symptoms, such as weakness in a limb, making it difficult to maintain his physical composure, along with dryness in the mouth (xerostomia), and indicating reduced saliva production.

Question:

What would be your diagnosis when you refer to these symptoms of Arjuna?
