A 47-year-old male has been hospitalized with a complaint of a left femur intertrochanteric fracture. The medical intervention involved the surgical placement of a left proximal femoral nail (PFN) with k-nail fixation. Postoperatively, the patient is prescribed Inj. Tramadol and Inj. Emset, along with additional supportive care. It is noteworthy that the patient has a known case of diabetes mellitus (DM).
