🚨 A Life Saved with Rare Pulmonary Valvuloplasty 🚨 We successfully treated a 37-year-old patient with severe chest pain, syncope, and diagnosed with severe pulmonary stenosis (PS). Despite the initial denial of treatment due to a large annulus of 23 mm (as the maximum balloon size available is around 22 mm), we successfully performed a rare pulmonary valvuloplasty using the advanced double balloon technique. šŸ”¹ Pre-op Gradient: 110 mmHg šŸ”¹ Post-op Gradient: PG 50 mmHg, MG 22 mmHg šŸ”¹ The patient had syncope on the table but revived successfully during the procedure. Thank God for giving me the courage to face this challenging case and save another young life. šŸ™ This procedure has hopefully delayed the need for a pulmonary valve replacement, giving this patient a brighter future. šŸ™ā¤ļø Today, the patient is symptom-free, lifting 20 kg with ease, and doing great on follow-up! šŸ™ŒšŸ’Ŗ It's a reminder of the power of timely intervention and the incredible resilience of the human body. 🌟 A huge thank you to the incredible Cath lab team and special thanks to Rajendra Bhai for being there through the challenging moments. At IMS SUM, we are proud of our ability to handle complex cases with remarkable outcomes. šŸ™šŸ’™ #Cardiology #PulmonaryValvuloplasty #LifeSaved #TeamWork #MedicalSuccess #HeartCare #IMS_SUM #Grateful #DrGyanaranjanNayak #DrGyana #Cardiologist #interventionalcardiologist
