Altered mental status

Following a tumble the day before, a 2-year-old kid goes to the emergency department (ED) with slight altered mental status and balance concerns. The patient tripped over a step and landed on a rubber-matted floor. However, he is strangely gripping his neck. The reason for the patient's indications and symptoms is revealed through a non-contrast head CT.
