A 26 year old female pt came with the c/o anxiety since 6 month. She gave history of tremors and sudden fainting which happened quiet frequently. The said that she had sudden loss of weight over the last 6month. She said that she had lost interest in eating or in any work and would constantly cry. On further discussion, the pt revealed that she had gone through a divorce in the past year and since then had been getting severe nightmares. Pts sudden fainting was then correlated with Panick attacks. This was a classic case of depression. Pt was prescribed lorazepam and was referred to counselling. Follow up was done after a month and pt was visibly better and gave no history of Panick attacks
