Kartagener syndrome

 A 38-year-old man, non-smoker, non-alcoholic, labourer without any co-morbidity, presented with recurrent episodes of nasal congestion, nasal discharge and productive cough since childhood and difficulty in breathing since past five years. Clinical and radiological findings revealed chronic sinusitis, bronchiectasis, dextrocardia, and situs inversus for which he was treated symptomatically and improved with therapy given at this juncture. No h/o loss of libido and erectile dysfunction. No H/o any difficulty in coital activities. He is Married for the last 4 years and wife is not able to conceive in spite of many fruitful intercourses .semen analysis of this patient was volume 1.8 ml, colour whitish, liquefaction time 15 mins and microscopic examination reveals azoospermia. USG Inguinoscrotal region revealed Bilateral prominent rete testis and USG whole abdomen reveal mild Hepato splenomegaly with situs inversus. Dx of Kartageners syndrome was made.
