A 6-year-old male sustained a limb injury two months ago and was treated with a cast. He fell again two days ago, resulting in a new X-ray. Given the history of the initial injury and the recent fall, should this be managed as a fresh fracture, or are there specific considerations for treating refractures in pediatric patients? What would be the recommended course of action based on the new X-ray findings? Should the current injury be treated as a fresh case?
