A 14-year-old girl with no noteworthy past medical history presents with a bump on her right leg. It started roughly two years ago as a small pink "pimple." A few days ago, it was glimpsed that it had gotten bigger. It was mildly pruritic but has never stood painful or bled. There was no prior trauma. A physical examination revealed a pinkish-red, exophytic nodule with a 1.2 cm x 1 cm diameter, a height of 0.8 cm, and a 1-mm central crust present on her right popliteal fossa.
