mucocele

A 40 yr old male pt came with the c/o swelling on labial mucosa since 1mnt.

No pain or discharge was associated.

o/e: A shiny well circumscribed swelling was seen on the labial mucosa. It appeared blusih in colour.

A Dx of mucocele was made and excision of the same was advised to the pt.

Pt was given LA and using an electrocatery machine, excision was made. Bleeding was minimal and pt was put on antibiotics and analgesics for 5 days.

2 week follow up showed complete healing of the region
