The patient was a 73-year-old man admitted to the clinic and hospitalised because of a chronic heel ulcer. His history was significant for a flower thistle pierced into the heel 9 months ago. He suffered ulceration of the right heel with minor purulent discharge and was diagnosed with an infectious ulcer, which required antibiotic treatment.

Examination

On examination, other than the heel ulcer and the two tumours, no other complications were observed. The patient had no family history. However, due to the chronic ulcer, a biopsy of the lesion was conducted.
