A 45-year-old male was involved in a motor vehicle accident resulting in an open fracture with skin degloving of the left tibia. Two days after initial debridement and external fixation, the patient underwent further surgical intervention. Intramedullary nailing was performed, followed by reversed hemisoleus flap coverage at day 10 post-injury.At 18 months postoperative, the patient demonstrates favorable clinical and radiologic outcomes, with successful wound healing and restoration of limb function.
