The patient presented with symptoms of anaemia and a history of chronic alcoholism. An X-ray of his chest was taken. The final diagnosis concluded that the patient, who had a chronic alcohol addiction, was experiencing poor appetite leading to a folic acid deficiency. Additionally, the patient had TB effusion and successfully responded to anti-tuberculosis treatment (ATT).
