A 32-year-old woman shows herself for consultation with recurrent bouts of swelling limbs (Figure) but no other concomitant concerns. The patient also mentioned a personal history of varicose veins, three miscarriages, and a maternal relative who had oedema in her lower limbs. Subsequent research using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was conducted after lymphangiography revealed lymphatic hypoplasia, which revealed oedema. The diagnosis was confirmed as Milroy's disease. The patient subsequently started receiving symptomatic oedema treatment, including decompressive massage and stocking fittings. The swelling decreased after one month of therapy.
