A 45-year-old female presented with hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone on her face (Figure 1a). She had been using steroid creams for several months to treat a skin condition, leading to these undesirable side effects. The patient was concerned about the appearance of her skin and sought dermatological intervention. After a thorough evaluation, the patient was prescribed a Kojic Acid and Tranexamic Acid treatment regimen. She was advised to apply a combination cream containing Kojic Acid (2%) and Tranexamic Acid (3%) twice daily for one month. Significant improvement was observed in the patient's skin condition at the end of the one-month treatment period. The hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone had visibly cleared (Figure 1b). The patient reported satisfaction with the treatment outcome and expressed relief at restoring her skin's natural appearance.
