Tumour on the belly

A 46-year-old woman asks to have a tumour on her belly removed. The lesion, which has been there for at least a year, has grown larger and has been traumatised recently. The patient has hypertension and hyperlipidemia. A 2.0-cm hard nodule with a reddish centre is discovered during a physical examination.
