A 13-year-old female presents with complaints of dark and light spots all over her body since she was 11 years old. She has a history of difficulty in seeing in bright sunlight and shows signs of photosensitivity. There is no history of any raw areas anywhere on her body, and there are no similar complaints in her family history. Additionally, there is no history of developmental delay or any neurological complaints. On examination, the child is thin-built. Mottled pigmentation is observed all over her body, in both exposed and covered areas. Multiple discrete depigmented to hypopigmented macules are also seen throughout her body, along with pigmentation over the bulbar conjunctiva. Erythema is noted over the tip of the tongue.
