A DNA damage repair gene‐associated signature predicts responses of patients with advanced soft‐tissue sarcoma to treatment with trabectedin

By using direct transcriptomics, we identified a new DNA damage repair gene‐associated signature with predictive value for trabectedin efficacy in soft‐tissue sarcoma (STS). Patients in the high‐risk gene signature group showed a significantly worse progression‐free survival compared to patients in the low‐risk group. These findings may help in identifying new therapeutic targets that could enhance the efficacy of trabectedin in STS.
