The study aimed to investigate the feasibility and effectiveness of a targeted psychological therapy (SleepWell) to treat sleep problems in young people at ultra-high risk of psychosis. A trial was conducted on 40 participants aged 14-25 with sleep problems and at risk of psychosis. The therapy consisted of approximately eight 1-hour sessions over 12 weeks. Results showed that the SleepWell group exhibited reduced insomnia severity compared to the usual care group at 3 and 9 months, with high treatment acceptability. This study demonstrates the feasibility of the therapy and suggests its potential benefits for this population.
