This study investigated the impact of acetabular version (AV), femoral version (FV), and combined version (CV) on patient-reported outcomes (PROs) after hip arthroscopy for femoroacetabular impingement syndrome (FAIS) in 566 patients. While FV and CV had no significant influence on PROs, acetabular anteversion relative to the mean (AAr) was negatively associated with preoperative and postoperative PROs, particularly in patients with femoral retroversion. These findings emphasize the role of AAr in predicting less improvement after hip arthroscopy for FAIS.
